- May 1st is Thursday….May Day. I remember wrapping ribbons around a may pole in 3rd grade….but nowadays, I don’t hear much about this holiday. Skip to My Lou, though, has the spirit….I might just have to try these May Day baskets with the kids….I know they’d enjoy the “ding and dash!”
