What’s going on out there?April 25th, 2008 @ 9:23 am
- Heard about the rice shortage? We aren’t terribly big rice consumers, but it would affect us some. At least (evidently) we can still enjoy foods made with short-grain varieties (think sushi, rice pudding).
- We currently employ the tactic of “toy rotation,” but here’s a how-to on a toy LIBRARY….brilliant. I think we’d have to resort to the garage for this endeavor, though….and don’t know how Ken would feel about that!
- I have raved about these things before….and right now, Amazon has the green TykeLights on sale big time. If it’s on your list of things to buy and try, head on over.
- Yes, I know Unplugged Week’s at its end, but this nifty list of TV-free activities for grown-ups would be useful anytime.
- I give you: The Amazing Milk Trick. Boy, we HAVE to try this.
- Ken shared this and, oh, my, what treasures abound. Here’s how to get even more out of your Amazon shopping experience! I can’t wait to try some of these out for myself.
- Hurry! This contest ends on April 30th: What’s your best toddler feeding tip?

Thanks for the links! I’ve done the milk trick in my classroom, but it didn’t happen as fast as that one did. Of course I was also using a much smaller container…not sure if that had anything to do with how things worked or not. It was fun though.
