TasteBook Giveaway #2!!
April 10th, 2008 @ 6:47 am

Oh, boy. I promised another TasteBook giveaway, did I not?

The gracious folks at TasteBook have given me another voucher for a free TasteBook to share with one of you. Isn’t that fantastic!?

If you’re new here, perhaps you missed my earlier raving/review of TasteBook. Go and take a look. It’ll tell you all you need to know.

So, to be eligible for this fabulous giveaway, all you have to do is this:

1. Go back over to TasteBook and thumb through their myriad of available pre-made titles. (You can also submit your own personal recipes and compose a personalized cookbook.)
2. Come back here and leave me a (only one) comment telling me which title you’d choose….or if you plan on making a personalized book, tell me what you’d theme it or name it.
3. Sorry, but only U.S. addresses are eligible.
4. Contest will close at 11pm on Wednesday, April 16th. Winner will be randomly chosen and then announced the following morning (Thursday the 17th)….so be sure to check back!

Good luck!

My mother-in-law was telling me last night that she’d like to put together a collection of her grandmother’s recipes. She was a pastry chef and used to produce mammoth amounts of baked goods at home, from what I understand. So I’d help my mother-in-law out with that project!

I have put together recipe books in the past for the women in our family that are marrying in. The girls love these for shower gifts, and it’s nice to have a cache of new recipes to use as a newlywed. I would name it after our family.

my mother-in-laws collection of recipes is a sad mess, to say the least. As many times as she has cooked from them, she still has to go back and get the particulars. A nicely bound, easy to navigate book would be great. She would love pictures of her kids/grandkids on the page of their favorite dish she makes. Right now I am thinking: “Grammy’s Best”

Oh wow!!! I have never seen or heard of this site before. I have been collecting recipes in a Word document for about 12 years now, each year telling myself that I will get them all printed out and into a binder at some point, but I have never done it. This would be a perfect way to organize all of our family favourites! I especially like that when my kids move away from home, I can just create an extra cookbook for each of them to take with them. For this reason, I would most likely create a personalized cookbook as opposed to a premade one from their collection. Thanks so much for sharing this.
