And I haven’t even finished the first one yet. OK, I’ll do that first, then start on Super Mario Galaxy 2.

Watching the demo of NOVA, an upcoming shooter for iPhone, makes me think “could this be our new mobile HALO?” Wow.
Here’s something a little fun for a Wednesday, lots and lots of theme park maps (link here.
This weekend marked the beginning of a new series, Don’t Get Married Until… For the visual package and opener Perry’s sole request was that it should an element of hip-hop. Listening to the 90s station the other day I heard some Heavy D and I instantly knew it was the right choice. The goal in this piece is to set up the series with “if you’re ______, then you’re not ready to get married.” Here’s the resulting opener.
Tomorrow I’ll post of the preproduction details (and a special preliminary video), sketches, and talk a little about the process.
Build your very own papercraft Roland TR-909.
The teaser for ngmoco’s Eliminate looks pretty amazing. It made me feed giddy like the first time I played Doom over a LAN. (or Quake, or Hexen, or Descent, or…)
The Art Of Video Scratching, interesting idea.
This is a creative idea. Talk about ensuring brand loyalty, get customers using this bad boy and all the tech savvy pizza lovers have their “go to” food of choice ready to roll.
We should stick these stickers just about everywhere.
From last week’s Moby post Adam’s comment lead me to this CNN video interview with Moby. Yep, love him even more.
Love this. We did our own version of it a few weeks back, but this was the inspiration and definitely worth a watch.
On date night this past week Meg and I went to spend some quality time at Hobby Lobby. Truth be told, Meg was purchasing lamps, I was causing trouble and running a muck in the store. Armed with my newly acquired iPhone 3GS camera I saw a couple of things. I had a few thoughts. And now I’ll share them publicly.
Is this Kimmie Gibbler?

We call this “Vampire Aisle.”

Yo, yo. It’s foam, bro.

So, which century exactly defines modern? “modern as compared to the middle ages.”

That’s all I have right now. Maybe next time Meg will want to return. I’ll be ready.
Here’s a thought. What if we do discover time travel, but instead of applying it to sending people through time (which is nearly always the case in the movies) we direct this power towards the kitchen.
Imagine if you had a conventional oven with a time travel ability. You propel your uncooked meal into the past by about 45 minutes. As soon as you put it in the oven it will catch up with you in time and be ready to eat.
Hmm, there’s something there. If it doesn’t become a reality, maybe Alton Brown will at least pick it up for a segment of Good Eats.
Seriously, whatever you do, do NOT play this game.
(unless you have about 30 minutes to kill)
I don’t know why it didn’t occur to me before now but I spent the other evening browsing YouTube for old clips from my favorite program in high school, MTV’s Unplugged. As a wielder of a Guild D24 acoustic I used to dream of being in my own five man acoustical jam, and frequently was.
By watching that show it turns out you can do just about anything acoustic. Some of my favorites (can you name them):
Go waste some time playing through these beautiful flash games. Explore worlds, get confused. (link)
I must say I’ve not hear about Moon until today, and all I’ve seen is the trailer. And that trailer has done it’s job because I’m fascinated. It reminds me of that artsy-nuevo-sci-fi in the vein of Sunshine or The Fountain. And that’s a good thing.
