this is currently one of my favorite pieces as well. the music and pacing are spot on, not to mention the animation. i am consistently blown away by the music of Ólafur Arnalds. the first time i heard one of his scores was in this video by rob chiu: http://theronin.co.uk/Motion/?Eulogy_for_Things_Left_Unsaid.mov. just beautiful work, and i think you nailed it with the title “hypnotic”.
