At a recent trip down to North Point we saw a cool idea… the creative board. I believe they were using it to identify cool typography trends at the time, and we loved the idea of taking creative visual ideas and making the visible, discussable. Here’s the one we installed on the NewSpring production hall. In the future, we’re thinking of clearing it and working with a theme, you know: textures, a single color, images of people. What are some other themes that would inspire?

Using themes, you could make some really cool wall art to line the halls one at a time…

Album Covers
Ads targeting specific age groups (left to right timeline)
Event Flyers
Movie taglines (the cheesier, the better)
Font Wars (ie. helvetica vs. arial, think Risk gameboard)
Maps
Synthetic vs Organic
5 human senses
I could go on, but they’ll just get more and more rediculous.
