I love Brad’s ingenuity and thoughts on this post. I believe he best sums it up in this line:
So quit your complaining and get creative! Maybe if God sees he can trust you with the little, he’ll trust you with more!
Being at NewSpring since the start I remember the days of mobile, of setup and teardown each week. I remember when the dollars to purchase a new projector lamp was a stretch. New computers weren’t an option, and my Duron processor was a 600 MHz. I appreciate reading words like this because they encourage me to never lean on the crutch of “oh we’ll just buy this, or if we could only get that.”
Thanks, Brad, for a great tangible reminder.

I hear where he (and you) are coming from! We’re trying our best to display excellence while not exceeding our means. I follow your blog for inspiration and find myself salivating at what you guys can do and all the resources you have. For those who don’t have the budget though, there are all kinds of great free resources out there. http://clowe-imhere.blogspot.com/2009/03/its-all-free.html

Thanks for all you guys do Ken! I really appreciate your friendship and encouragement as well as everyone else down at Newspring!
Excited to hang out in Wilmington very very soon!

Right on! The Ridge is going through the same “struggles” as a new church.
Craig Groschel said something like “limitation breeds innovation”. I believe it.
That’s why I had to come up with stuff like these: http://www.squidoo.com/DIY-Light-Stands

Great post. I’m there right now. We really don’t have the money at our church so we are being creative (like God made us to be).
