I’ve been researching MIDI and hardware controllers the last few days (don’t ask) and came across this little beauty.

It’s made by monome who built some of the gear for Nine Inch Nails. That pretty much means it’s out of my price range but it’s quite beautiful.

I’ve got the poor man’s monome rig – a Korg PadKontrol, which I’m pairing up with a Behringer BCR2000 and the Behringer FCB1010.
A plethora of fun, but not Monome fun….yet.
PadKontrol works great for live loop triggering and at home for ripping out cheesy beats with Ableton Live.
Gots purdy lights, too!
