I’ve been researching MIDI and hardware controllers the last few days (don’t ask) and came across this little beauty.

It’s made by monome who built some of the gear for Nine Inch Nails. That pretty much means it’s out of my price range but it’s quite beautiful.

Tree time

After much attic digging and copious amounts of super glue the Wilson tree is up. Also a sidenote: I tuned the vinyl decks and with the exception of some jazzy modern beat tunes most of this year’s Christmas music will be supplied from the original vinyl. (pictured record is just for example and won’t be shown again until January when the vinyl becomes a 70s rockfest).

Pre Thanksgiving day

Today is the day before Thanksgiving. It’s going to be great just chilling at the house. I plan on a Pre Thanksgiving day run to get my appetite ready.

To point, I’ve cooked a good Southern breakfast of Timms Mill stone ground grits and eggs (scrambled for G, over hard for me) and watched the Today Show. Installed Tweetie after continued love/hate feelings toward Twitterific. So far, I miss the dark background, but love everything else. Much faster, better feature integration… and I can finally delete a tweet from the iPhone.

Loving the new Supreme Beings of Leisure album 11i. If you’re a fan of trippy, rock-based electronic James Bond-esque spy music with a female lead vocal and high production value (I should write for Pandora, no?), this one’s for you. I bought it ear-unseen and wasn’t disappointed.
