Hobnox, digital online sequencing

I’m loving Hobnox’s Audiotool, which performs as a flash-based online iteration of Propellerhead’s Reason (or more accurately, the original Rebirth). It’s tactile, pretty (love the color of the stomp boxen), and offers enough depth for an interesting evening. Not sure if I’ll ditch full-on Reason for this, but it’s a compelling free option if you want to create electronic music like they did in your father’s day.

Hey Ken, thanks a lot for the mention and the nice words about the tool. We’re preparing for the third and last step of development to be finished early 2009. It will include pattern saving, timeline and arrangement and will finally be a ‘real’ production tool enabling collaboration. Once that is done, there are no limits
