A creative endeavor

I love creativity, I love art, and I love stretching myself. I’m a big believer that you can continue to be creative as long as you exercise it, stretch yourself, and don’t allow yourself to get stuck in a rut. Me, I create motion graphics. I do it a lot. But to keep myself sharp, I’ll delve into other artistic genres. Now, I may not do these other things well… in fact these experiments may turn our poorly, but the purpose and goal is really more to stretch my brain into something different.
I’ve kept a copy of Propellerhead’s Reason nearby for years. It does have it’s viable uses for me (generating clicks for click tracks, building texture and beat beds for various videos and roll ins). But from time to time I’ll pull it out and try to actually create something. I’m in one of those cycles and so for the next few weeks I’m going to share some of my attempts at electronic music.
No promises on quality, remember this is an experiment.
There’s an mp3 link attached so you can download these and create your own bootleg AV Club album. Collect all 10!

I was hoping you would do this.

I like the first offering, but it needs to be longer…say 8 to 10 minutes.
I hope you will list the hardware and software involved in this project.
Remind me to introduce you to the music of an English friend, Simon Slator.
