As a lover of modifying just about anything, I was intrigued by this firmware mod for Canon cameras (I have an SD1000). It appears you can temporarily overwrite the firmware and gain access to deeper features not intended to see the light of day. Cool.
In practice, I don’t think I know enough about cameras to pull any great elements out. I guess I’ll have to had it to Will to show me how to make it more exciting.

Yea I saw this posted a few days ago and want to try it out with my 40D. Looks like it adds some really sweet options!
