Tonight, Tom Conlon played at the Corner B (formerly The Corner Bagel Shop). Coffee, something called Sweet Potato Cake, and delicious music. Often familiar, some new, some classic Tom tunes made this a great night. It’s good to see an old friend again.
It was cool to see him on electric. I’m so used to Tom on acoustic only, but I really appreciate the Tele. Bonus points if you can ID the amp in the background. I forgot to snap a picture of the pedal board.
There’s a new CD out, Gravity Shoes. I picked it up and will be enjoying it tonight.

Is it a Peavey Classic series amp? I’ve got one…looks a bit like an earlier version. That or maybe Fender Blues Jr.? Then there looks to be a couple Bose bass modules from maybe one of those ‘personal amplification systems’…

hey ken! the handle and frame on the amp suggests that i might be a 50s reissue fender, or a silvertone, perhaps a supro.
how did i not know tom was playing? i hate i missed it.
