First of all, way cool having your baptismal where it is. I like the way it creates a sense of community with it in the lobby, so tired of seeing the baptismal up on stage out of the way.
Second of all, coming from a broken home where this would never happen, I can’t even begin to imagine how important of an event this can be for your family. I’m envious (in a good way) of how this can only strengthen your relationship with your parents. Bravo.

What with baptism symbolizing a new birth/rebirth of sorts, now you can just tack a word or two on to that old line your parents always held against you and say “I brought you BACK into this world, I can take you out!” All joking aside, though…congrats! What an awesome experience to share with your parents.

I think that is the sweetest, most awesome photo I have ever seen! All four of you should get enlargements and display them in a prominent place to remind you of the closeness of family–your family and the family of God.
