Pig Roast 2007 was a huge success. I’ll be blogging the finer points later, but for now I’m totally exhausted and ready for bed. In the meantime, this photo says it all.

This was the event of the season so far. Thanks go to you & Meg for allowing us to use your home and for being so gracious. You guys are fantastic. NOW lets plan our 1st Annual August Homemade Ice Cream social.

Yes… thank you to all who participated in the all night preparation. And a special thanks to the 208lb pork belly. Without your contribution… we would have only had beans and slaw. I held my son over your filleted carcus, pointed and said, “Pig.” Andrew just looked at me… because usually he says, “Oink Oink.” I guess by that time you did not look like the pretty little pink piggy he sees is his barnyard books.
ps… Ken, the “CSI” picture… I’m glad you kept the inflatable spout balloon on the faucet… because really… Safety first. Even though the pig did not have a head while it lounged in your tub… you never compromise your standards.
