weekend review / RESIDENT reel

Great weekend. Lots of family time… very little done on our “project work,” but I did make a tiny bit of progress on our bathroom renovation. (nothing worth a photo yet… wait for it).

On Friday, we took the kids to the Hatcher’s to play with goats, ducks, chickens, etc. Rainey met her first goat:

On Saturday night, we visited Devil’s fork… I took a wrong turn and ended up in NC. Now we can say G’s been to NC. My grandfather turned 85 and we had a little shin dig for him. G got to slide down a slide for the first time by himself.

Another thought I’ve been pondering is this, how do I write on this blog? You may have noticed with my new layout (which I still hate, by the way) that I’ve reduced my post frequency but have increased my words-per-post. The idea was to have something more noteworthy (and hopefully thought through) rather than more sporadic and less thought out. What is your preference, because I could really go either way. Regardless, I’ll redesign as many have commented that they don’t care for this layout. Let me hear it.
