It’s been a good day. Began at around 5:30a when my alarm went off. We had to have Gardner at the hospital by 6:45a for his outpatient procedure. We were tired, he was exploring the room. The little guy was so brave, didn’t cry, didn’t make a fuss, and somehow had the nurses laughing and smiling as they brought him back to us. All in all, his surgery was very quick, and the anesthesiologist went to NewSpring. Always comforting. I’m thankful to God that it wasn’t a huge deal, that my son was extremely brave, that we have doctors and nurses who are skilled and can care for him, and that God protected him.
The rest of the day, I was prepared for him to be upset. We were warned that the anesthesia would make him grumpy, whiny, and generally irritable. Not so. Gardner was his usual cheerful self… running around, eating a huge lunch, and taking a three hour nap. Blessings all around.
Oh, and Heroes was on tonight. Still did not disappoint. OK, so we’ve saved the cheerleader. Exactly HOW does that save the world? And why didn’t Peter absorb Siler’s powers and kick some tail? Just questions…

My bet is that the cheerleader is the only person who can stop Radioactive Man from nking New York (since she can grab hold of him without melting).

Ken,
I am glad to hear that your little one is well! I have two guesses on save the world. One, hiro saw something in the future that Claire is necessary for. Saving her from Sylar will help that from happening for now. For example, she is going to have to do something with Ted(the radiation guy), since she is the only one who can touch him basically without getting hurt. Two, they have Sylar under custody now, and he is no longer stealing brains(thus saving the world of extraordinaries). Second one is weak, but really haven’t had time to think it out. Just thoughts though! Are we going to have a Heroes party? BTW, I had an idea. NewSpring series, “Heroes” talking about Spiritual Gifts? Whatcha think?
