haven’t stopped…

Yesterday, Meg and I did not stop moving until we fell asleep. It was a wonderful and busy Saturday. We first ventured to Abbeville to take Gardner and Rainey to the farm. The visit was multi-fold. We saw family, Rainey met my grandparents for the first time. Gardner got to ride on the 4-wheeler (or the trailer behind it, with me holding him). And we picked out several sycamore trees down my the river bed that we’ll be transplanting to Anderson this winter. Yeah! I’m finally going to own more than 3 trees!

Then we ran home, I took care of the garbage duty (thanks for the truck, DJ), and the kids “attempted” to nap. And it was off to Meg’s grandfather’s 88th birthday. Fun times. Spent the evening chasing kids and discussing the finer points of the LG Chocolate, the Razr, and why I can’t get the new Gmail app to run on my phone (boo).

And then we came home and crashed. I consider myself fortunate to have so much family (1) still living and (2) so close. Nearly everyone I’m related to lives under an hour’s drive away. Awesome.
