punk buttons.

I’m thinking of putting in an order at punk buttons. Why, because it would be awesome, and I’m sure all of you would want a nice AV Club button (or two, or ten) for your bag or purse. Any takers? Maybe we’ll have a contest for you to pick your favorite of my designs.
But not this week. It’s going to be busy. We’re preparing for our Easter services… can’t wait. Sure to be exciting.
And in the World-o-Wilson, we’ve been hard at work on the house this weekend. I removed the remaining contingent of wallpaper that was holding out on us in the kitchen. The carpet’s going down tomorrow. It’s going to look like a different house very soon. The hard work is paying off.
For “what’s in ken’s (new) iPod” this week:
Fischerspooner – Odyssey
Squarepusher – Ultravisitor (saw him at the Orange Peel in Asheville… most audio and visually abrasive show I’ve ever seen… remind me to tell you about sometime).
Prefuse 73 – Security Screenings
Oh, and I got my Linksys wireless router up and running last night, too. So I’m blogging from the couch tonight.
As for the new web design… I’m still undecided. Any other thoughts? That’s all for now. G’night.

Just noticed the abbreviation for “World-O-Wilson” is “WoW” … “Wilson’s House Outside Anderson” is “Whoa.”

Comments on the new layout/design
Positives:
-Cool Design
-Nice color choices
-Unconventional layout – Separates it from the traditional big-long-page-o-posts format that’s been around so long
-Allows you separate your detailed, thoughtful posts from quick random links
Negatives:
-Unconventional layout – Takes a little more thought to figure out the format at first
-Can’t see # of comments for main posts without clicking “view comments”, but that can be easily fixed (or I might be missing it)
-Chuck Norris is nowhere to be found

Also, I just noticed the sweet way the comment appears after you submit it… Attention to detail is awesome.
