Great weekend

It’s been a great weekend. The pig roast was a success and I hear that everyone had a great time. This will now officially become a yearly event (if not every 6 months). I’m officially full and tired of BBQ pork. I ate it for supper tonight (it works well leftover), but that’s it. The remaining portion goes to my parents, who will be keeping the ‘G for a day.

NewSpring rocked hard this week. I don’t know the attendance (if someone does, please leave it in the comments) but it was slam packed. I got some great photos of the overflow room in the second servcie FULL. Incredible. Thank you God for your continual blessings upon our church, for allowing people to hear your word preached boldly.

In an effort to recharge before our upcoming busy season, I’m on vacation this week. I don’t have any huge plans, just going to visit a friend who’s in the Marines and being deployed soon. I want to see him before he takes off (and give him a list of souviners to buy). Then, I’m going to enjoy letting my mind rest for a few days with my lovely Meg and beautiful son Gardner.

What I’m definitely NOT going to do is build one of these, though believe me I’m tempted.

I would like to mod the Civic this week (with the help of Bish) to better integrate the iPod. I like the iTrip FM modulator OK, but the sound quality isn’t 100% pristine, and it seems to drain the battery a little quick.

It seems I’m still a bit spaced out from the all night pig roast, so I’m going to bed.
